Newsletter No. 19, 26 November 2015

Growing in Christ, challenging mind, body and spirit
Tena Koutou Parents and Friends

A big thank you to our children and families who shared our parish/school mass on Saturday night.  It was a particularly special occasion because of the Baptism of Steve, Harry, Mila, Luka and Anton.

Next Tuesday we will be having morning tea with our parishioners after our school mass, please feel welcome to join us.

We are just coming to the end of our learning about the Communion of Saints and the children have learnt a lot about Mary, the first disciple, about other saints particularly Mary MacKillop.  We expect some more amazing writing to be published on the RE blog shortly.

Room 3 & 4 are very busy finishing off their passion projects.  Room 4 are making and creating things above and beyond their room.  A couple of our students have initiated contact with and interviewed the local vet for their projects.

Please refer to last week's newsletter for notices about pet day and sand saucers.

Our PTA have been working very hard organising our Community Christmas Extravaganza on Friday 4th December.  Please join us for a fun filled evening with Santa, lovely food and a nativity walk following Mary and Joseph with their donkey singing carols along the way.  We hope all families, and your extended families will be able to join in the fun.

Ma te Atua e manaaki, God Bless
